WRITING LETTERS
The hand addressed envelop lifted my spirit even before I opened the letter to read the contents. The message was a few sentences of appreciation and words of encouragement. Whether we communicate by paper or computer, writing to someone can convey a powerful message saying, 'I care about you.'
Read two of the letters written by John in the Bible:
2 John and 3 John
PRAYER: Father God, to whom am I to write? By Your Holy Spirit, teach me to write letters of truth, encouragement and love. Amen

One of the definitions of the word inspiration is: a stimulus to creative thought or action. May the following writings be an inspiration to you. May the photos and paintings offer peace and healing and yet stir the soul regarding the beauty of God's creation.

GOD RULES HIS CREATION
Scripture teaches us that God not only created the heavens and the earth but that He has the power to make changes in His creation. A few years ago, when a fire was burning out of control near the coast of Southern California, our Bible study class prayed that the wind would change directions and cause the flames to blow back upon themselves. The next morning the fire chief reported that a sudden wind blew in from the ocean and helped to stop the progress of the fire. My faith includes praying for God to intervene in problems we face.
Read Psalm 135 verses 3-7
PRAYER: Praise the Lord, who rules over His creation. Thank You, Lord, for You are merciful and Your love is everlasting. You are greater than all gods. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Amen.
